That’s it, you’re then swooshed to your filtered messages inbox, which are just messages from people who aren’t your friends, wishing to initiate a conversation with you. One of the most immediate methods to get to the filtered inbox is to click on the message icon at the top of the Facebook homepage and then click ‘Message Requests. Alternatively, from your inbox, click the “More” button at the top and from the dropdown menu, click “Filtered”. The old method has now apparently been replaced by a much more streamlined, less hidden waybut there are still lots of messages you may not realize you’re getting.
